Final Touches & Walkthrough

Step 1: Initial Consultation & Planning

We discuss your vision, lifestyle needs, budget, and expectations.

You can bring a plan you love, or we can help you design one with an architect or our drafting team.

We review land conditions, feasibility, and potential design challenges upfront.

Outcome: A clear understanding of your dream home, timeline, and project scope.

Step 2: Design & Customization

We fine-tune your home’s layout, architectural details, and finishes.

You select materials, fixtures, and design elements that fit your style and budget.

Our team provides expert guidance to ensure functionality, aesthetics, and durability.

Outcome: A fully customized design plan, ready for pricing and approvals.

Step 3: Cost Proposal & Contract

We create a detailed cost breakdown based on your design and material selections.

A comprehensive proposal is presented, outlining estimated costs and timelines.

We review everything with you to ensure clarity and alignment with your budget.

Once finalized, a contract is signed, and we set an official construction start date.

Outcome: A transparent agreement that ensures expectations, budget, and scope are all clearly defined before construction begins.

Step 4: Construction Begins

Our in-house framing, siding, and trim crews ensure quality and consistency.

We provide regular progress updates and walkthroughs.

Every phase is built with integrity, precision, and attention to detail.

Outcome: Your home takes shape with expert craftsmanship and rigorous quality control.

Step 5: Final Touches & Walkthrough

We conduct a detailed quality inspection to ensure everything meets our high standards.

A final walkthrough is scheduled with you to review the home and address any final details.

You receive information on warranties, maintenance, and everything you need for move-in.

Outcome: A flawless, move-in-ready home built exactly as you envisioned.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After a storm in March , we lost our gazebo while we were in Florida. We contacted Penland Builders who built our house and they immediately went over to our house took pictures and sent them to us , removed all the debris, met the insurance adjuster and sent us a proposal for the reconstruction.
In rebuilding the gazebo they also found some additional damage which they also repaired.
They are a Family owned and operated business highly respected in the area for both their honesty and quality workmanship.
Reece their son has been a welcome addition to their team, he was right on top of all the details and very easy to communicate with.
I would highly recommend Penland Builders to build your dream home or for any construction projects.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Penland Builders is a highly professional, quality builder who listens and finishes the job on time. They were easy to work with, explained everything they would do, and kept within the budget. For our project, they came in and finished our house, repairing critical mistakes made by the previous builder. The relief we felt with the quality of work and entire experience restored our confidence in the integrity of the house. I truly wish they could have built our house from the ground up. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The team at Penland Builders was professional, competent, helpful and always displayed a great attitude. I worked mainly with Reece Penland. He worked hard to be certain that we were completely pleased. Their subs are outstanding. We appreciated that the company stayed in budget and did not hit us with a lot of change orders. The entire process was smooth and completed in a timely manner. They are a fabulous company.
